Thanks to Kit Baum, the -center- package has been updated
on SSC. Type
. ssc install center, replace
to update the package on your local system.
Changes:
- -center- is now very efficient in centering variables
for many by-groups (-by ...: center ...-).
- A -casewise- option has been added for the listwise
exclusion of cases with missing values.
- A -theta- option has been added for quasi-demeaning.
- The -meansave- and -sdsave- options now allow the
specification of a prefix for the saved variables (the
-mprefix- and -sdprefix- options are discontinued).
