st: decimal points in LaTeX tables

Dear All,
I want to produce LaTeX tables from Stata using outtex/outtex6. The problem I have is that outtex seems to produce 3 digits after the decimal point so a number such as 4.3 E-06 is output as 0.000. Does someone know how to fix this?
Regards
Rainald
