Somebody just started a little fashion: "awaiting a response".
Please don't do this.
First, it is unnecessary.
Second, it may create the impression that you, the customer, are
waiting impatiently for service. I am sure that those posting
questions should not want to create that impression. Any reply
you get is a courtesy, not an obligation.
