Dear Stata-listers,
I tried using "findit screen print" and a few other
simple searches (i.e. print, view) but couldn't find
what I want.
I want a copy of my .do file in my log file every
single time I run it (I'm printing out hard copies a
few times a day and need the day/time stamp).
Basically I need a command that will read and output a
text file to just the screen. "-print" sends it
straight to the printer, and "-view" doesn't do it
either.
It seems like it should be possible, this notion of
printing to screen the .do file as you run the .do
file itself? (Of course I could 'comment' the whole
thing and nest but then I'd get those ">" signs)
Regards,
CM
