A question was brought up at the London users group meeting that no one there
could answer that I'd like to answer. When Stata is in the background and one
of its windows is clicked, why does only the window that was clicked come to
the front rather than all of Stata's windows? The answer is that this is
standard behavior for applications in Mac OS X.
To bring all of any application's windows to the front, select "Bring All to
Front" from the Window menu (assuming the application supports it). There is
also a setting in the General Preferences dialog in Stata that will bring all
of Stata's windows to the front when one of its windows is clicked. Just
check the checkbox labeled "Bring all windows to the front when activated".
