Ricardo,
The predopt uses the -predict- options from -regress-, since xb if the
default predict option there was no change.
But compare:
. sysuse auto
(1978 Automobile Data)
. twoway qfit mpg price, predopt(xb)
. twoway qfit mpg price, predopt(pr(0,20))
Hope this helps,
Scott

Subject: st: Graph's -predopt()-
Dear _all,
Could someone explain how to properly specify the
-preopt()- option in -graph twoway-. I have look in
the manual and in he help file but there is no detail
or examples on how to use it. For example:
. graph twoway qfit families x
and
. graph twoway qfit families x, pred(xb)
produce the same correct plot, but the second one does
nothing with the option.
Thank you,
Ricardo.
