At least, you can use a painting software.
For instance, after preparing a graph with blank titles,
in the "Microsoft Paint", paste succeedingly the blocks of
"Mean Capture of", italicized "Aedes vexans", "and",
italicized "Culewx", and "spp."
"Insert tranparently" and indicator for bitmap coordinates
may be useful. Recommended to look tutorials for minute
techniques in some websites, before inevitable try and error.
As you might see, this is an illustrator's job and should be
only an alternative.
