Dear Statalist,
Still having trouble with mvsumm. I downloaded the updated mvsumm file and tried using the entire panel but to no avail. I then tried it on a smaller subset: # of panel ids 5783 and records 176226 and 32 years. Because I have missing observations, I made sure to use tsfill. I now recieve the error "obs. nos. out of range." When I cut the dataset into chunks--around 3000 panel ids, it worked, so I am not sure what the problem is. Thanks, KK

A problem was recently reported with -mvsumm-. That limitation on the
number of panel units (3 000 for Intercooled, 12 000 for Stata/SE) has
now been corrected in Cox and Baum routines -mvsumm- and -mvcorr-. New
versions of these routines for Stata 7, 8.x are now available from SSC.
