Hello all,
I am trying to make a stacked bar graph in Stata and can't seem to get anywhere.
I have data for years 1973-2002, which I need on my x-axis. What I am trying
to do is the following:
My variable is "regm" that has a value of 1,2,3,4, 5 or 6 (or missing). For
each year, I hope to count the occurrence of each value. So if in 1973, I have
30 (1's), 25(2's), 60 (3's), 80 (4's) 15 (5's) and 20 (6's), my chart will
stack these in one column with 6 distinct labels for 1973 (the bar will reach
up to 230 on the vertical axis). And I need to repeat this for every year in
this chart.
I hope I haven't made this hopelessly confusing. Any help will be appreciated.
