Some thoughts on dealing with tables bigger than 2 x 2
- simplify: see if you can merge some categories based on either prior
knowledge, post-hoc tests or both
- try and express the relationship using a set of dummies , which allows you
to use -mlogit-. The advantage to this route is the possibility of extending
the model to adjust for confounders and of using -adjust- or -mfx- to
express your results.
I have the feeling that the answer to your table is that Pr > |z| = 42
In other words, you will end up with a statistical test of a hypothesis you
cannot describe.
