The version is 8.2, however -parmest- is not part of official Stata but a
user contribution. You can find it using findit (-findit parmest- in a web
aware Stata will locate the appropriate files for you). -findit- can be
used to search for other user contributed programs, Stata Journal programs,
FAQs, ect.
In addition, Roger Newson has made his pre-publication draft of his Stata
Journal article "Confidence intervals and p-values for delivery to the end
user." The Stata Journal 2003; 3(3): 245-269 available at
