hi all,
after some search into the matter, i am still puzzled by this: is there an
easy way of obtaining the (alphabetical, if possible) list of unique values
taken by a string variable and assigning it to a local macro?
preferably, this would be done without having to change the dataset
then -restore-.
i have a feeling someone must have done this before and there is a
straightforward solution i happen to overlook.
