I have a multiple logistic model testing the relationship of two variables
of interest with mortality. Both terms remain non-significant predictors
until the interaction term is added. The interaction term is negatively
signed, significant and influences the significance of one of the first
order terms (results below using _outreg). No other changes are made to
the models.
I wondered if anyone could recommend references to help interpreting the
model and deciding what variables to keep.
Thanks,
Eric Hixson
