Hello friends of the stata list. I have a database with 4 digits codes, for
example: O140 where the first character is a letter. Those codes are strings
and I want to know how to tabulate frequencies of some codes using
wildcards. For example I want to get the total number of codes who are
between 0140 and 0150, what can I do?
