Sorry, I forgot to add that I found in the help the command renvars,
map. Do you think this command could solve my problem? If yes, how does
it work?

Dear All:
I found the renvars elements by downloading the STB-60.
I can now formulate my question.
I have 200 variables named in the following way:
vary98
vary99
vary00
vary01
Could I rename all the variables with one instruction to obtain:
vary1998
vary1999
vary2000
vary2001.
If not, should I distinguish the 1990s and the 2000s?
