I think Nick [Winter] is ahead of Stata.
However, graphs up to 10 acres in area
are thought to be on the agenda for (say)
Stata 10. It is possible that your plotter
may not be able to match, but as always
your hardware is your own concern, and
outwith the responsibility of StataCorp.

P.S. 1 acre = 1 furlong * 1 chain
1 furlong = 220 yards = 10 chains
1 chain = 4 rods, poles or perches = 22 yards
= 1 cricket pitch length
1 yard = 3 feet
1 foot = 12 inches
1 inch = 25.4 mm
1 metre = length of some bar in Paris, originally?
[OK, folks, stop this now please: Marcello Pagano]
