st: imposing constraints and reparameterizing

All,

In order to practice Stata I'm working my way through the examples in
"Applied Statistics" by Cox and Snell.  Example O talks about
reparameterizing and imposing constraints in anova.  I realize that Stata
does this automatically, but is there a way to override this and specify
the constraints or parameters?
