Quite a few questions on Statalist could have been 
answered from within Stata by using -search- or 
-findit-. 

Please do use these facilities, which are advertised 
in many places, e.g. in the Statalist FAQ. 

Conversely, if you tried these, and got nowhere, 
do state that, e.g. 

"I tried -findit-, but didn't."
