I have two possibly related questions.
I am trying to install and use -fhcomp-, based on the recent postings by
Nick Cox and Joseph Wagner. I went to
www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/ado/copyats and downloaded a bunch of files.
Everything downloaded ok, but when I entered -update swap- I got the error
message:
File C:\STATA8\wsestata.bin was not found, aborting swap.
I then tried to use -fhcomp- following a oneway.
I first tried
oneway a b, fhcomp
and got the message
option fhcomp not allowed
I then tried
oneway a b
and then
fhcomp a
and got the message
last estimates not found
Are these two problems related? Any help is appreciated.
