Subject: st: log2html and .png files -- thanks!
I just wanted to thank authors of log2html and Stata for .png graphics
export. It is now so easy to log a .smcl file, convert it to .html,
open the .html in BBedit, drag .png graphics files into the spot right
after a command, drag the modified .html file to my internet iDisk, and
voila, I can share not only the analysis, but also the graphics in one
nice output (e.g.,
<http://homepage.mac.com/dairey/eye_stats/eyes.html>).
Nifty!
As one of those authors (and the one that uses BBEdit), thanks! Listers
should note that the log2html package contains log2html7, which also
allows version 7 users to enjoy its functionality while saving up their
shekels for Stata 8. And at the same time, they might want to consider
an operating system upgrade that would permit them to use multiple
do-file editor windows and BBEdit...
