I have to agree with Ed. Graphics are so slow as to make their use 
currently unappealing, to say the least. Below, on my PowerBook G4 (384 
mb RAM, OS X 10.2.4), you can see that qladder takes 100 times as long 
under version 8 compared to version 7 control (76 seconds versus 0.73 
seconds). I hope the promised speed boost shows up soon; I donated my 
version 7 manuals to the library.
