Thanks to Kit Baum, the -rdplot- package on SSC has been
revised for Stata 8.
-rdplot- graphs residual distributions after -regress-
and similar commands. The residuals are, by default, those
calculated by -predict, residuals- or (if the previous estimation
command was -glm-) by -predict, response-. The graph by default is a
single or multiple dotplot, as produced by -dotplot-: histograms or
box plots may be selected instead. Various options offer ways of
checking for homoscedasticity or displaying the pattern of
heteroscedasticity.
This is a rewrite for Stata 8 of a program originally written
for Stata 7. That original is renamed -rdplot7- and remains
available in the same package.
Download in an up-to-date Stata by
. ssc inst rdplot
or
. ssc inst rdplot, replace
as the case may be.
