Hi Deborah

I'm guessing that you would like to make a new variable in your main table
based on an indexed list in a second table. Sort of like merging two tables
together. If that's the case, the -joinby- command is probably what you're
looking for.

Subject: st: VLookup command in Stata

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a command in Stata
that would be similar to the VLookup in Excel?

Thanks,

Deborah
