I have panel data in which the units are countries and the time variable
consists of two-decade periods from 1390-1410 to 1930-50. The dependent
variable consists of count data with a range of 0-143.
My preferred model is -xtnbreg- with the random effects option, but -nbreg-
has SPost, an extremely useful ado file for interpreting coefficients in a
negative binomial model, and that package doesn't work with -xtnbreg-. So
what I would like to do is make -nbreg- produce the same output that
-xtnbreg- would produce (specifically with the random-effects option). Is
there any way to do that?
Thanks for any help,
Charles Murray
