st: labeling graph object

Hi,

I want to label objects in a graph. For instance, my graph has six lines, 
each of which represents the longitudinal change of a variable of my 
data. I want to put the variable name on each line to lable them. I saw 
graphs like that but don't know how to do it. Does anybody have any 
suggestions? Thanks very much.
