st: Generating equally spaced points.

Dear All,

I have data for variables(X,Y,Z) and I want to create grid points such that
I get 1000 equally spaced points for variable X (starting from the minimum
value to the maximum value) and the corresponding values of the Y  and Z
variables. How can I do it in stata?
