"In the case of tabodds and mhodds, standard errors of the odds ratios are obtained as the square root of the variance of the score statistic. This standard error is used in calculating a confidence interval for the odds ratio. (For matched case-control data, exact confidence intervals are always calculated.)"
See the -epitab- entry in the manual for more details and options.

Mario.

Subject: st: Odds Ratio and confidence interval
Hello all,
I'm using the command "tabodds" to calculate Odds ratio for a case control study.
Could someone explain me which method is used by default for the calculation of confidence interval for odds ratio ?
Thank you in advance
Alvine
