Subject: st: logistic binomial-random effect models
Sir,
I am processing a transversal studuy on a contagious disease.
I have several groups of cohabiting subjects who show
different levels of prevalence for the disease of interest.
Because of the presumtion of violation of the standard
logistic regression assumption of independent response
probabilities across observations, some have used a
logistic-binomial random effects model for distinguishable
data not to underestimate the standard errors of odds ratios.
How is it working and how can STATA do it?
Thanks for your help.
