Is it possible to use the predict command after mlogit to predict outcomes
with a new data set in version 7? I have tried to follow the out of sample
predict commands from the manual but find I am not allowed to use a new data
set because the old data in the memory will be lost, according to the error
message. And clearing the data loses the estimates the predict command need
to run. If anybody knows of another way to do this I would greatly appreciate
the help. Thanks.
