It is likely that your Stata executable has not been updated recently. Both 
dmexog and dmexogxt make use of features of the syntax command that were 
not in thr original Stata 7.0. Do 'update query', and if it indicates that 
your executable must be updated, do that and try dmexogxt again. It should 
work.
