Hey folks!
Thanks to some prodding from a fellow Stata user (Roger Harbord), I've
finally posted the Stata 7 friendly version of my ado-mode for editing
Stata ado, do, hlp, and smcl files. It can be found at
http://www.louisville.edu/~wrrisi01/Stata
along with some easier installation instructions.
Here's what has changed:
Context-sensitive highlighting for
all of the Stata 7 constructions,
smcl constructions for writing help files
A new highlighting type for now-defunct commands.
Note: this is a different mode than ESS, which is made for interacting
with Stata from within emacs. The ado-mode is strictly for
context-sensitive highlighting, and smart indentation of commands.
