The 11Jun2002 update of Stata brings a welcome cosmetic improvement (item
11 in help whatsnew): 'net describe', which is used by 'ssc describe', can
now provide a much lengthier description of a downloadable package. This
means that when a SSC package has a long 'abstract', the full abstract as
well as author information and date of last update will be displayed. For
example, 'ssc describe ivreg2', prior to this fix, will provide only a
subset of that information. This should be quite helpful for SSC users, who
now can get the full information available in the package file on screen.
