Stata 8: How do I increase the memory allocated to Stata?

You may increase the memory by opening the General Preferences dialog and setting the Set data memory to: edit field to the requested memory size in kilobytes.

You may also set the memory by using the set memory command. Type help memory or see [R] memory for more information.
