Dear TF:

Search for -ttest- in the Stata commands. It's very simple.

The syntax is something like:

ttest mean1 = mean2

Best regards

Hello, I am comparing two sample means of asset/liability ratios, one
is for
healthy firms, antoher is for failed firms.

Does anyone know how I can use Stata to compute the t and p values?

TF
