2006 German Stata Users Group meeting

First announcement and call for presentations

We would like to announce the fourth German Stata Users Group meeting to be held at the University of Mannheim on Friday, 31 March 2006. Information, including a preliminary program, costs, and venue, will be circulated in February 2006. The final program will be circulated in March 2006.

Call for presentations Presentations are sought for such topics as User-written Stata programs Case studies using Stata for research or teaching Discussions of data management problems Reviews of analytical issues Surveys or critiques of Stata facilities in specific fields

If you are interested in presenting a paper, please submit an abstract (maximum 200 words) by email to one of the organizers. The deadline for submissions is 28 February 2006. Presentations should be about 20 minutes or shorter.

The conference will be conducted in English due to the international nature of the meeting and the participation of non-German guest speakers. (See http://www.stata.com/meeting/proceedings.html for the proceedings of other Stata User Group meetings.)

Accomodations and fees

Participants are responsible for travel and accomodations. There will be a small conference fee to cover costs for coffee, tea, and luncheons. There will also be an optional informal dinner at a Mannheim restaurant on Friday evening for an additional cost.
