The first Italian Stata Users Group meeting will be held on October 25, 2004 in Rome.

The objective of the meeting is to provide Stata users working in different research areas with the opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences, and information on new applications of the software.

The content of the meeting is being organized by Una–Louise Bell, (TStat S.r.l.), Rino Bellocco (Karolinska Institutet), Giovanni Capelli (Universitą degli Studi di Cassino), and Marcello Pagano (Harvard School of Public Health).

Notes on the program

The meeting will be organized into four sessions. Each session will include three presentations of approximately 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes of discussion.

The preliminary program can be viewed below. Abstracts will be posted at a later date.

Registration and accommodations

The cost to attend is 30,00 Euros. This fee covers lunch and refreshments. An optional dinner, at extra cost, will be held on Monday evening at a restaurant to be named at a later date.
